Slipper who was born on July 7th
1934 died on April 6th 1937; After the tragic death Edward presented Mrs.
Simpson with a gold, diamond and emerald pendant with a Diamond Slipper.
The Emerald was carved in the shape of the Indian deity Ganesch which was
to reference their sorrow. |

The soon to be married Mrs. Simpson wrote to her
loved Prince after Slipper ( Mr. Loo ) had died from a snake bite in the
woods of Cande, near Tours, France: "He was our dog -not yours not
mine but ours-and he loved us both so. Now the principal guest at our wedding
is no more, I can't stop crying..."
