The Fragrance Collection
A fragrance should be as memorable as the person who wears it.
A Heritage Extended
At Laykin et Cie, we have always believed that true luxury is something deeply personal — not defined by fashion or fleeting trends, but by beauty, individuality, craftsmanship, and the extraordinary pleasure of owning something exceptional.
Our journey into the world of fragrance is a natural extension of a heritage that began in 1932. Just as a remarkable jewel becomes part of the person who wears it, we believe a beautiful fragrance can become an intimate expression of character, emotion, and memory.
A jewel is seen.
A fragrance is remembered.
Inspired by California. Crafted in France.
Southern California has long represented a distinctive vision of elegance, where the romance of the Pacific coastline meets the sophistication of historic estates, magnificent gardens, and the glamour of Hollywood's golden age.
From the refreshing beauty of Montecito's coastline to the magnificent rose gardens of San Marino, and from the legendary glamour of Sunset Boulevard to the enduring style of Los Angeles itself, each fragrance tells a distinctly California story.
Proudly made in France, our fragrances unite California's distinctive character with the celebrated artistry of French perfumery.
The Spirit of a Jeweler
Our approach to fragrance reflects the same principles that have guided Laykin et Cie for generations: beautiful compositions, thoughtful details, exceptional presentation, and designs that transcend the ordinary.
Our bottles reflect our jewelry heritage, with gemstone-inspired silhouettes, faceted metallic detailing, and carefully considered finishes that evoke the brilliance and dimension of a finely cut stone.
Each fragrance has its own personality, its own inspiration, and its own story. Together, they form a collection that celebrates the many expressions of elegance.

Where California
Met Paris
Christian Dior died in October 1957. Within weeks, his house named a 21-year-old Algerian-born designer as its new artistic director. Yves Saint Laurent's first collection for Dior — the Trapèze line — caused a sensation when it appeared in Paris in January 1958.
That same year, Saint Laurent came to Los Angeles, where I. Magnin — the great California department store and one of the most important retailers of European couture in America — presented his work to the city's most discerning clientele. The models wore Laykin et Cie jewels.
The Ambassador Hotel on Wilshire Boulevard was itself a legend — the place where Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall had dined, where the Cocoanut Grove had drawn Hollywood for decades. On that evening in 1958, it hosted a meeting of the two great traditions of personal elegance: French couture and California style, unified by the jewelry of Laykin et Cie.
It is precisely this history — a century of standing at the intersection of French artistry and California beauty — that inspired Laykin et Cie to create its fragrance collection. Made in France. Conceived in California. Rooted in a legacy that has always understood that true elegance knows no borders.
