This strong ring of sultry proportions and modernistic presence
establishes its presenter as a woman of conviction.
Nefertiti evokes the 1930s Art Deco interpretation of ancient Egyptian themes. This strong ring of sultry proportions and modernistic presence establishes its presenter as a woman of conviction. Nefertiti was designed at the Laykin et Cie Atelier on Sunset Boulevard in 1935 and originally featured choices of opaque onyx, lapis, or malachite — which we still produce to this day.
Shown here with regal amethyst in vibrant purple, especially selected for this most unique of rings. Our reinterpretation of this stylistic gem insconces gorgeous hand cut and polished gems to feature their stunning translucency — devoid of the complexities created by facets. These stones forcefully challenge the status quo with a bold statement of purity and resolution.
Laykin et Cie is pleased to present Nefertiti in blue or brown topaz, yellow citrine, pink or green tourmaline, or fine blue tanzanite. Each ring is handmade to order with the center stone specifically selected and cut by Laykin et Cie gemologists.
