The Laykin et Cie lifetime warranty is simple. We stand behind the workmanship and quality of each Laykin et Cie jewel. All workmanship is guaranteed for life under normal use conditions. Any defective item will be replaced or repaired at the expense of Laykin et Cie at any time.
Furthermore, any Laykin et Cie piece may be returned at any time for full store credit or exchange less a minimal restocking fee or in the case of items which have excessive wear, a refinishing fee.
In addition clients may take advantage of the exclusive Laykin et Cie “Previously Owned Estate Jewels” program where an assigned value will be placed on the item which you wish to return and it will be entered into the Laykin et Cie estate collection for sale.

All refunds will be issued to the original form of payment except cash purchases, which will be refunded by company check. All returns must be unaltered, unworn, and in saleable condition. Returned merchandise should include all original packaging and tags. Please note used merchandise will not be accepted for refund or exchange unless defective. Some exclusions may apply such as merchandise which is exchanged for new items.
On the packing slip enclosed with your order, please note the reason(s) for return and whether you wish to exchange the item(s) or receive a credit/refund (depending on the original form of payment). Any merchandise purchased in a store or at an authorized Laykin et Cie retailer should be returned at the store where it was purchased.
Purchase price will be credited. Prices are subject to change. We offer a one-time (single order) refund or adjustment for items purchased within 10 days of a price adjustment. This includes permanent Sale items and excludes temporary special promotion items. For questions and adjustments call 1-866-LAYKINS. We work hard to ensure the accuracy of pricing, but despite our best efforts, pricing errors may occur.
- If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge you the lower amount when your order is shipped.
- If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, contact you for instructions before shipping. If we are unable to contact you after 15 days we will cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
Credit Card Use

Credit Cards: The total dollar amount of your order is allocated at the time your card is approved, although payment (transfer of funds) does not occur until the order ships. If the amount charged exceeds your credit limit, your order will be automatically canceled.
Debit Cards: Payment is deducted from your account at the time your card is approved. A receipt is included with each order.
Sales tax is automatically applied to your LAYKIN.COM order in accordance with individual state regulations.
